Matteo Prestia

Matteo Prestia is an artist based in Toronto, Canada, who works in comic book style illustration. He is enrolled in the Visual And Digital Arts program at Humber Polytechnic, while also taking online classes to further educate himself in his practice. Additionally, he is taking creative writing classes to hone his skill in storytelling.
As a digital artist, Matteo uses Clip Studio Paint and Adobe Illustrator for challenging tasks. “The Puppets Path” is one of the first projects Matteo worked on, inspired by a story he was once told. “The King’s Second Saviour” is a collaborative project Matteo worked on with his childhood friend, which later fuelled his dream to create his own comic book that is now beginning the early stages in its creation. He looks forward to the day he can publish the first issue. Matteo will be showing his work in an upcoming "Lingua Franca" graduate exhibition at the Humber Galleries in Spring 2026. |
