Aiden Urbano Rio

Aiden Urbano Rio is a young artist based in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada.

Working primarily with oil paints on canvas, he uses his art as a way to express his connection to his female anatomy and femininity as a whole. Most of his compositions are depictions of women or self portraits with heavy relation to femininity, for example displaying himself in women's lingerie. During his 2 years at Humber Polytechnic within the Visual And Digital Arts Program, he learned how to work with oils, paint anatomy, and so much more that contributed to his skills in the fine arts.

With upcoming projects such as a group exhibition in April of 2026, Lingua Franca, he is constantly producing work that engages with identity politics. He has plans to continue his studies at York University in the upcoming Fall, where he is sure to enhance his skills as an artist and continue to expand his work.
